Liz’s Poetry

I am a London poet and write about what it is like to be alive now, but the past comes through of course.

I have always loved the discipline of a poem that cuts its words to the bone to stand stronger on the page.

Poems communicate in the way they choose, it can be scary stuff - but shock can be a spicy ingredient.

This is my fifth collection of poems but the older ones are still accessible on the Archives tab.

I’ve have flagged up each poem with a 'one liner' so you can choose which (if any) to read - or you can hear me read it..
