Cliché

last year I saw probably the most boring

film in the world

set in a converted mansion -

lots of  slamming pine doors

and - we are told by the Director

on stage after the showing -

throbbing  with sexual tension

last month I ate probably the tastiest

meal in the world -  the curry

was hugely to mention -

at the next table sat a

blond with hair extensions

and a bald guy on a stiff pension -

claiming vindaloo sexual tension

last week I talked to probably the best

Hamlet in the world eating pizza

between shows – he said that to act

in a play of such complex dimension

he had to have a mozzarella

to keep up the sexual tension

(with the whole cast)

last night I met probably the most daring

explorer in the world -

a mind of focussed intention

in a state of jet lagged suspension -

he assured me

(what a relief)

that at the North Pole

there is no sexual tension
