Equations floating on the floor

toy cars: watch your step.

A massive screen,

people, shadows,

haunting and retreating.

A friend hallucinated this:

(wrong drug on the nhs).

He thought: am I

temporarily

out of order

or satirically sane?

The question snagged.

Could reality after all

be trustworthy?

He felt closer to everything

honest, unashamed.

Returning found

no notices unexpected,

new sense of  what to overlook,

all captured, so he said,

in a fluid sense of self.

A what?

hang on,

I might prize some of that.

Welcome bright toy,

you fluid sense of self,

you lost equation

balanced in yourself.

Latent in a hiccup

on the national health.
